JOB PURPOSE:
The Manager will play a pivotal role in enabling our staff to excel, grow as healthcare professionals, and be future-ready for the evolving healthcare landscape. Co-creating a learning environment with the WH family, you will foster collaborative learning, integrate formal and social learning pedagogies and technologies, and build expertise across domains.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Programme Administration:
- Oversee the smooth running and execution of organization-wide learning and development programs in WH, from pre-program to post-program, including continuous improvement.
- Oversee the collation of the master training calendar and scheduling of programs.
- Support the formulation, implementation, and review of People Development policies, systems, guides, and processes for program administration.
- Collate and analyze learning statistics and evaluation results and make recommendations for program improvements, etc., and management reporting.
- Facilitate the procurement for learning and development programs organized by People Development.
- Publicize learning programs, including those organized by NHG and partner.
Learning Facilities Management:
- Management of all the learning facilities under the care of P&OD except the Simulation Centre and Surgical Skills Lab.
- Oversees the booking of the facilities and optimizes their utilization.
- Create a physical space and environment conducive for learning.
- Work with OSG to ensure that the rooms are properly maintained.
Stakeholder Relationship Management:
- To be a key player in developing and maintaining P&OD's stakeholder relationship management system and strategizing interventions to ensure a good relationship between P&OD and our stakeholders.
Special Projects:
- Contribute to special projects assigned by RO.
General:
- Coordinate and support related projects under the department's responsibility and undertake its related work working with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work together with the P&OD team to contribute to cross-cutting projects or organization-wide projects.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Degree in any course
- At least five years of relevant working experience in a managerial/supervisory role in people development
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential.
- Team player with good people management skills
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Meticulous, organized, and proactive
- Independent and able to think on your feet.
