[What you will be working on]
Role Overview:
- The jobholder contributes to the establishment and management of performance management and discipline matters in SSG carries out performance management activities and performing case management and investigations to ensure proper staff conduct and behaviour according to SSG's code of conduct, values, ethics and disciplinary procedures so as to foster a fair and transparent environment through effective management of performance and discipline policies, practises and initiatives that are aligned with organisational goals and to maintain a high-performing culture.
Key Responsibilities and Competencies:
- Administer performance management activities such as appraisal, ranking, emplacement & promotion processes.
- Address queries from employees on performance management issues.
- Support reviews of performance management framework, policies and practises.
- Gather feedback and generate reports to track outcomes and effectiveness of performance management activities to help identify issues or improvement areas.
- Ethics & Conduct Management
- Establish and implement fair, transparent and consistent frameworks, guidelines and processes on conduct and discipline.
- Implement initiatives that promotethe organisation's values, ethos and code of conduct,and interventions that monitor and prevent violations of code of conduct, including management of annual and ad-hoc declarations and related comms, training or quizzes.
- Support investigation and processing of staff cases in accordance to established Conduct & Discipline related policies and procedures.
- Support reviews of ethics and code of conduct framework, policies and practises.
[What we are looking for]
- Possess the required competencies to execute the job duties proficiently
- Minimum 3 years of relevant HR experience in performance management and discipline within an HR setting, preferably in the public sector
- Strong understanding of performance management and discipline frameworks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to design and implement strategic HR initiatives
- Commitment to fostering a fair and transparent work environment
- Technological savvy and comfortable with use of digitalisation tools and data analytics
- Candidates with IHRP-CP certification are encouraged to apply and preferred
