As a key member of the APJ team, you'll spearhead our Portfolio Solution Architects (Data Services), driving innovation and excellence. Our Systems Engineering & Solution Sales organization is made up of 800+ customer-focused technical sales professionals who are responsible for identifying and matching technology opportunities with the customers business issues and objectives, as well as channel partner training and enablement. This team also acts in a consultative fashion and is looked to as an expert in their field by Nutanix sales, customer success, business partners, and customers.

Meet Your Manager: Maksim, Head of Portfolio and Solution Architecture, Nutanix APJ
Maksim joined Nutanix in 2019 as a Global Solutions Architect and has since taken on various roles, including leadership positions. For the past two years, he has proudly led the APJ Portfolio and Solution Architecture Organization.

Your Role
Cultivate and maintain crucial customer relationships.
Lead by example, stepping in for team members when needed.
Take charge of channel and partner enablement, fostering collaboration.
Collaborate closely with sales teams to boost pipeline growth and secure deals.
Leadership Responsibilities
Support the team in navigating complex evaluations and troubleshooting.
Recruit and mentor new Solution Architects, providing ongoing guidance.
Conduct regular 1:1s with direct reports and 2x2 meetings with sales counterparts, and manage team operations efficiently.
First Year Objectives
Serve as a technical escalation point for pre-sales and post-sales issues.
Forge strong partnerships, both externally and internally.
Articulate Nutanix's value proposition while understanding and respecting the unique needs and responsibilities of the portfolio team.
Stay abreast of APJ market trends leveraging simplicity, cloud-first strategies, and cost savings to build positive relationships and drive sales success.
Be prepared for regional travel, constituting approximately 30% of your time.

10+ years of experience in Sr./Pre-Sales Systems Engineering or Solution Architecture, including 2-5+ years in management.
Deep understanding of database and storage markets, coupled with exceptional communication skills.
