We are a Singapore-based subsidiary of a joint venture of TOPPAN Holdings Inc., a Japanese pioneer in printing technologies and a leading supplier of high-quality Flip Chip Ball Grid Array (FC-BGA) substrates and Broadcom Inc., a global technology leader specializing in semiconductor design, enterprise software, and security solutions.

We will be the first factory in Singapore to pioneer the manufacturing of high-end FC-BGA substrates used in cutting-edge semiconductor products such as network switches and artificial intelligence (AI)/machine learning (ML) devices.

Job Description:

As a Manager, R&D Design, you will oversee the research and development of innovative design solutions, manage design and engineering teams, ensure adherence to design rules, create and approve product specifications, implement design for manufacturing practices, handle technical customer inquiries, oversee CAD/CAM/CAE tools and design servers, and stay updated on industry trends while developing technology roadmaps and maintaining high precision and customer focus.

Remarkable impacts that you will make:

• Trial Production and Design: Manage customer data, implement DRC, apply DFM, create and secure product drawings, oversee design/manufacturing data, generate tool data, establish product specs and process flows, review prototypes, and manage prototype production transitions.
• Standardization, Operation: Develop and standardize design guidelines, operational flow rules, correction policies, and oversee training for design engineers.
• Roadmap: Research technology trends, develop and manage a technology roadmap, and summarize development initiatives.
• Customer Response: Serve as the main contact for technical inquiries and conduct meetings to address customer needs.

The successful candidate should possess the following:

• Professional Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 5+ years of semiconductor process/design experience.
• Specialized Knowledge & Skills: Knowledge of semiconductors and customer needs; experience with CAD/CAM systems; familiarity with measurement tools and substrate manufacturing; problem-solving ability.
• Competencies: Meticulous attention to detail; strong understanding of customer needs; proven project management skills; ability to influence company policies.
• Attributes: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable in a global context; aligned with company values of integrity, passion, proactivity, and creativity.
