Job Description
The Account Manager (AM) is responsible for managing and maximizing SingPosts business result from the assigned accounts and business development through a combination of world class account management, business development, and consultative selling. The AM is responsible for developing relationships and effective solutions to ensure revenue growth, retention, and customer satisfaction, to achieve the assigned sales volume, and financial targets.
To develop, manage and execute an account development plan in accordance with goals and objectives for the account, including acquisition of new business, maintenance of existing business and maintaining or improving profitability.
Sell full range of Logistics solutions, from postal to courier services.
Accountable in providing concise, data/fact-driven information and analysis on opportunities, issues, trends, and financial results inclusive of identification of alternatives and options.
Ensure that the accounts are serviced and managed properly and is positioned to grow and gain profitability in accordance with the account plan. This is done through direct and frequent contact with operating management to know the current state of service delivered to the account.
Highlight and bring attention to shortfalls as early as possible and to make recommendations to operating management at all levels for the placement of resources, plant, and equipment to adequately service the account.
Update opportunities and pipelines in CRM and provide accurate Sales forecast.
Any other duties assigned.
Job Requirement
4 to 5 years of relevant Sales / Account Management experience
Established capabilities to be able to adapt to a dynamic working environment, and high demand on time sensitive actions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
