Responsibilities:
- Recommend, promote, implement, review, and maintain a Safety Management System for facilities.
- Develop, review, or revise quality standards and specifications for safe operations, with a focus on regulatory requirements such as fire safety, water ride safety, water quality in swimming pools, and workplace safety.
- Ensure that Sport Centers, programmes, and major events comply with regulatory standards and safety policies.
- Identify and recommend training needs for the organization and its stakeholders in safety-related areas.
- Plan, organize, and conduct or coordinate relevant safety training sessions.
- Collaborate with centers to ensure compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act.
- Coordinate and support the OHS Committee and Safety Management Measures (SMM).
- Provide advice and follow up on Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) matters.
Requirements:
- Possesses a Bachelor's Degree with at least 2 years experience in Safety Management, preferably involving sport facilities.
- MOM Workplace Safety and Health Officer and / or SCDF Fire Safety Manager and / or BCA Ride Manager-registered individuals are a plus.
- Risk management and investigation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
