Manufacturing & Production Manager

Job Description

. Responsible for the end to end manufacturing process and resolving production related issues

. Technically sound with relevant experience in contact lens manufacturing/precision engineering manufacturing

. Coordinate with Supply Chain, P&D and QA&RA departments to ensure sufficient stock levels

. Able to lead and understand challenges due to business nature and help enable/shape improvements to operational management systems and processes

. Prepare forecast capacity planning, monitor factory output, plan, organize and allocate of resources to meet delivery requirements

. Managing, leading and motivating the staff to build team spirit and to maintain high morale

. Ensure effective, efficient and timely execution of planned production schedule

. Implementing new technology to increase efficiency and productivity in the production process

. Sourcing of vendors for cost reduction and overall cost effectiveness of the production process

. Ensure smooth running of all operations in an appropriate and cost-effective manner

. Ensure all finished goods are in full compliance with customer specifications and company regulatory requirements and standards

. Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs

. Recruit, train and supervise staff

. Other duties assigned by the Company as and when necessary
