- Experience on both Integrated Control Monitoring System (ICMS) as well as propulsion/steering control systems. Hands-on service or operational experience on the main engine and thrusters is an added advantage.
- Capable of resolving technical matters and completing services according to the works order for acceptance by the customers.
- Conduct acceptance test of equipment and systems with customers or customer representatives
- Carry out repair/adjustment if required.
- Provide service/investigation reports where applicable.
- Prepare and submit travel report on work progress as well as completion of project.
Requirements
- At least Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with working hands on experience in the diesel engine/generator industry especially with experience with engine automation or PLC/SCADA/MODBUS
- At least 3 to 5 years of related field experience in Alarm Monitoring and Control System as well as the good knowledge of computer hardware/peripherals and basic software's
- Experience onboard ship for automation systems (controls and propulsion), system process knowledge, distributed control systems and power management
- Experience in troubleshooting, project handling/execution, servicing and commissioning will be preferred.
- Communicates effectively, has a strong initiative and ability to work under pressure.
- Possess logical and analytical skills
