Marine Service Engineer
Location at Tuas, Work on site (sea)
5 Work Days 8am-5pm / 8.30am-5.30pm / 9am-6pm
Basic Salary Open for Discussion + AWS(dec) + Variable Bonus (Jan) + Medical Benefits + Transport Allowances
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform the repair, maintenance or overhaul of marine diesel engines 2 & 4 stroke under supervision of Engineer / Technicians.
- Comply with all the requirements to carry out the jobs in the shipyards or anchorages.
- Lifting and shifting heavy components of engine back to workshop for repair / recondition and vice-versa.
- Ensure prompt response and smooth communication with the customers
- Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the Operation Manager
Job Requirements:
- Must DEGREE in marine / mechanical / engineering qualification
- At least 3 years of related experience as Marine Service Engineer.
- Hands-on experiences in trouble-shooting, maintenance and repair is an added advantage
- Prefer someone with maintenance experience in marine engine makers like MAN and Wartsila
- Training period at office (Tuas), after training will work on vessel.
- Willing to work in shipyard / anchorage environment
