Key Purpose
To increase customer reach and structure of Singapore marketing and communications strategies to enhance growth for the business. You will be working together with the local and regional marketing team on the plans and activities.
Sitting together with the regional team, you will have a great opportunity to be involved in the local market and expose to regional market, being able to utilize and further develop your skillsets in marketing strategies, events planning and execution; media and public relations; and digital marketing activities.
The roll is a full-time position based in Singapore APAC headquarters office.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop marketing and promotional materials to drive Singapore's business growth and elevate brand image.
- Develop the local messaging and branding strategies together with the regional Marketing Communications Team.
- Drive the digitalization strategies; social media; campaigns for various activities; initiatives; sales channel/retail promotions to increase demand generation.
- Event/trade show planning and execution while leading the design and production for all deliverable elements together with the team.
- Own and drive the media and public relations strategies/programs.
- Create content strategies in conjunction with the product and engineering teams.
- Plan and implement direct marketing approaches including targeting, personalization of messages and measurability, data analysis, customer profiling and segmentation.
- Manage subsidiary website to optimize performance, ensure information is updated, and maximize the user experience.
- Manage the Marketing & Communications budget and ensure program milestones related to Marketing & Communications are achieved on time and within budget.
- Act as the support to the Marketing team and continuously develop skills and expertise in the field.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in area of marketing and communications, or equivalent.
- Have an excellent understanding of how to use marketing tools and techniques to increase the visibility, profile and reputation of an organisation.
- Experience of measuring the impact of communications products and changing strategies as a result of the findings.
- The position requires a high degree of adaptability, independence and professionalism.
- Experience with examples in professional writing, editing, speaking and presentation skills, planning and budget management.
- Have strong aesthetic sense. Good knowledge and skills in design and software (Adobe Suites) will be an advantage.
- Strong passion for delivering results, meticulous and having attention to details.
- Proficiency in Mandarin for communication and Chinese writing is required for handling marketing materials and participating in internal meetings with different regions.
