The Team: Marketing and Communications creates integrated communications and campaigns that aim to make the Morningstar brand tribal. Consisting of marketing managers, designers, writers, corporate communications professionals, digital strategists, behavioral scientists, and more, this collaborative team serves our marketing needs across our business. We are data-driven experimenters who work to deliver the right messages to the right people at the right time. We also drive demand by developing go-to-market strategies for Morningstar products. The team works globally to maintain a consistent brand experience everywhere Morningstar serves investors.
The Role: Morningstar is looking for a self-driven, energetic marketer to assist with a variety of marketing initiatives. In this role, you will work with the creative, events and operations Marketing Services teams to create and deliver successful marketing strategies and programs for our key client segments. You will also be responsible for supporting our sales communication efforts and ensuring that the Morningstar brand is clearly and consistently communicated. This position reports functionally to the Global Marketing Operations team in London, and operationally to the Asia Marketing team in Singapore. It will be based out of our Singapore office.
Responsibilities:
+Successfully manage all aspects of approved marketing programs, from strategy and planning to creative development and delivery
+Execute branding and marketing strategies for building a power brand, strengthening brand equity and ultimately for business growth.
+Provide analysis of marketing campaigns to determine ROI and inform future planning
+Collaborate with the marketing professionals across the client solutions segments and across the region to share best practices
Requirements
+Related industry experience, preferably brand or marketing experience at an advertising agency or client company
+Proven ability to design, develop, and implement marketing strategies and supporting tactics
+Around three years of experience in/ knowledge of the financial services industry, eCommerce industry, or database marketing
+Proven experience in working cross-functionality within an organization
+Strong project management skills
+Demonstrated budget management and resource planning experience
+Superior interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
+Experience with a marketing automation platform (such as Eloqua, Marketo) a plus
+Excellent English language skills; fluency in Mandarin would be an advantage
+Educated to degree level with qualifications that demonstrate a keen interest in marketing and communications
