The Opportunity

The B2B Marketing team at Agoda is seeking a visionary Marketing Strategy Director with a strategic, consultative approach to amplify our content marketing efforts and shape impactful narratives for our B2B partners. This role is instrumental in advancing brand visibility by crafting insights-driven strategies that resonate with our current and future partners.

Role Overview

As the Marketing Strategy Director, you will be responsible for driving the overarching content strategy that aligns with Agoda's long-term goals and value propositions for B2B stakeholders. You'll collaborate closely with senior leadership to refine our strategic narrative and deliver high-level presentations, positioning Agoda as a leader in the B2B travel space. This role is ideal for someone with a background in consultancy or strategy, focused on enhancing Agoda's strategic narrative and market positioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Content Strategies: Create compelling content that engages B2B audiences, elevating brand awareness and reinforcing Agoda's value across multiple business units.
  • Craft Engaging Presentations: Design and manage high-impact presentations that effectively convey Agoda's branding story and core strategies to partners and c-suite executives
  • Lead and Inspire Teams: Manage a dynamic content strategy team with wide range of skills, providing mentorship and guidance, develop KPIs, while recruiting top talent to enhance team capabilities.
  • Collaborate Across Departments: Act as a strategic advisor, collaborating with senior stakeholders to align content strategies with broader business objectives and uncover new opportunities for Agoda's B2B offerings.
  • Analyze and Optimize Content : Collaborate with analysts to monitor content effectiveness and optimize strategies leveraging data insights on all communication to ensure maximum impact.
  • Enhance Sales Materials and Strategy: Lead the development of sales collateral and communication strategies to support commercial objectives and enhance partner engagement

What You'll Need To Succeed

  • Extensive Experience: A minimum of 8 years in strategy/consultancy/product marketing or related roles. Experience in B2B marketing environment is a plus.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional writing and verbal communication abilities, with proficiency in creating impactful and visually appealing presentations.
  • Strategic Mindset: E xperience in developing marketing strategy that aligns with business objectives and enhances brand narrative.
  • Industry and product Knowledge: Familiarity with the tech and travel industry; experience in the online travel agency sector is a plus.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to substantiate content strategies and value propositions
  • Leadership Capability: Experience in senior people management, with a track record of hiring, developing, and mentoring high-performing teams.
