Summary
Perform general store/shipping functions e.g. receiving, stock-in, picking and packing.
Key Accountabilities
- Report any defects and/or discrepancies to immediate supervisor
- Bin materials into designated storage locations
- Check material part number and quantity against the GR slip
- Update MRP system (if required) for materials movement and ensure inventory accuracy
- Pack/un-pack instruments in shipping (If deployed)
- Pick and pack small and large pack shipments (If deployed)
- Ensure work orders are kitted and issued to production lines within the deadline date
- Conduct cycle count and ensure inventory accuracy
- Ensure safety and security of the shipping/store area and report any discrepancies or breach of safety (whether written or verbal) to immediate supervisor
- Practice good housekeeping & 6S Team Member and generate reports for operational use
Requirements
- Minimum secondary education, GCE O level or Nitec certification
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in store/shipping in MNC manufacturing environment
- Good working knowledge in SAP system preferred
- Proficient in PC skills including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Words applications
- Good oral and written communication
