Job Summary:
The Maximo Project Manager will lead and manage the implementation and maintenance of IBM Maximo/Maximo Application Suite (MAS) EAM solutions. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring project milestones are met, and optimizing the use of Maximo to enhance asset management and operational efficiency.
Job Description:
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets for Maximo/MAS implementation.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and resource requirements.
- Oversee all phases of project management, from initiation to closure, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and executive management.
- Lead and mentor a team of Maximo developers, analysts, and consultants.
- Coordinate with external vendors and consultants as required for specialized expertise.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and customization of Maximo/MAS systems in the Cloud system.
- Ensure seamless integration with other enterprise systems and data sources.
- Analyse current asset management processes and identify opportunities for improvement using Maximo.
- Develop and deliver training programs for end-users and administrators.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements, designs, test plans, and user manuals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certification preferred.
- Proven experience in managing Maximo/MAS EAM projects, including implementation and upgrades in cloud environment. Minimum 10 + years of experience in Maximo EAM solution
- Familiarity with Maximo functionalities, modules, and integration processes ( Rail domain is preferred)
- Strong background in project management, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and risk management.
- Experience in Maximo Application Suite (MAS) projects is highly preferred
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, including cloud, networks, servers, and cybersecurity.
