Job Summary:
The Maximo Technical Consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring, and customizing IBM Maximo / Maximo Application Suite (MAS) Asset Management solutions to meet client requirements. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their business needs, designing solutions, and providing technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure IBM Maximo/MAS software, including integrations with other systems.
- Customize Maximo/MAS applications using tools like Maximo Application Designer, Automation Scripting, and MBO customization.
- Develop and configure workflows, escalations, and reports according to client needs.
- Develop and implement custom scripts, interfaces, and integrations with other enterprise systems.
- Perform data migration and validation tasks to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, system configuration, and process flows.
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure the functionality of customizations and configurations.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues, providing solutions to ensure a smooth deployment.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure system stability and performance.
- Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance post-implementation.
- Develop user manuals and training materials as needed.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Maintain effective communication with clients and project stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experienceworking with IBM Maximo/ MAS, including system implementation and configuration.
- Proven experience with Maximo/MAS customization, scripting, and integration.
- Experience in the deployment and implementation of MAS in cloud environment is highly preferred
- Experience with database management and SQL.
- Proficiency in Maximo Application Designer, Automation Scripts, and Maximo Business Objects (MBOs).
- Knowledge of Maximo APIs, Web Services, and integration techniques.
- Familiarity with databases such as IBM Db2, Oracle, or SQL Server.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- IBM Maximo/MAS certification or training.
