Job Description

Design and Development Support: Assisting in the design and development of mechanical systems and components, often using CAD software.
Testing and Evaluation: Conducting tests on prototypes and existing products to evaluate performance, reliability, and safety.
Maintenance and Repair: Performing maintenance on mechanical systems and machinery, troubleshooting issues, and implementing repairs.
Documentation: Preparing technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and user manuals.
Quality Control: Ensuring that products meet quality standards and specifications through inspections and testing.
Project Collaboration: Working closely with engineers and other technicians on projects, providing technical support and input.
Production Support: Assisting in the production process by optimizing workflows and ensuring efficient operations.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring that processes and products comply with relevant safety and environmental regulations.
Continuous Improvement: Participating in initiatives to improve processes, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
Training and Mentoring: Providing guidance to junior technicians and new hires on best practices and technical skills.
