You are our mechanical design expert. You will work with our technical team to design, develop and test mechanical enclosures for D'Crypt security products built with high-performance digital and analog circuits. You should be conversant with electronics packaging at the chip, PCB, module, token, chassis and rack level.
Your main responsibility is in the design and development of mechanical chassis, enclosures and/or casing for D'Crypt's products, and conduct thermal analysis for any cooling solution when necessary.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop mechanical chassis, enclosures and/or casing
Conduct thermal analysis for cooling solutions
Selection of packaging materials for the enclosed electronics
Test (and when necessary, support qualification of) cooling solution
Generate required design and test documentation
Work with external vendors, contractors and manufacturers during product development
Liaise with production subcontractors to address any mass-production issues when necessaryRequirements:
Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with minimum four years of work experiences in electronics packaging and, thermal design and analysis OR a basic Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Very familiar with at least one thermal design and analysis tool and one mechanical design, modelling and drawing tool
Very familiar with thermal design and analysis of electronics systems; specifically natural/forced convection cooled and liquid cooled systems
Able to evaluate and/or select heat sinks, thermal interface materials, heat spreaders and materials used in electronics packaging
Able to work with third party electronics packaging material suppliers as well as heat sink, electronics enclosure and chassis manufacturer
Familiar with multi-layer PCB boards and standard chip packaging
Familiar with mechanical design and manufacturing standards as well as constraintsGood to Have:
