CAD Modeling: Work with detailed 3D models and assemblies using industry-standard CAD software to design robotic components and systems.
Mechanical Design: Collaborate with senior engineers to develop mechanical designs that meet project requirements, including structural integrity, functionality, and manufacturability.
Prototyping: Assist in the prototyping and testing of mechanical components and systems to evaluate their performance and make necessary improvements.
Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, drawings, and reports, to communicate design concepts and results effectively.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including colleagues on other engineering teams, project managers, and the production team to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems within robotic platforms.
Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot mechanical design issues, providing creative and practical solutions to engineering challenges.
Requirements:
Polytechnic/University undergraduates currently pursuing diploma/degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering or a related field.
Strong interest in robotics and automation technologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills in English (both oral and written)
Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD
Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and fundamentals.
Eagerness to learn and apply new engineering concepts and technologies.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Preferred: Knowledge of materials science and manufacturing processes.
