Mechanical Project Engineer (Entry Level)

Job Summary
The Program Engineer or Senior Engineer will support business development activities, oversee the execution and transfer of new programs to designated operational sites, and ensure programs meet both internal and external customer goals and standards. This role involves managing cross-functional teams to successfully implement new projects in the production/manufacturing unit while maintaining cost and schedule objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and direct cross-functional teams in the execution of programs.
• Ensure the successful qualification and implementation of new projects in production units.
• Track and monitor project progress to meet timelines and cost objectives.
• Actively follow up on sales leads and take the lead in business development activities.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for customers on strategic or sensitive issues.
• Prepare quotations for molding projects involving new tooling.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to establish workflows and production concepts that optimize efficiency and meet customer requirements.
• Identify and define engineering requirements for new projects.
• Initiate equipment procurement activities as needed, in collaboration with the Purchasing team.
• Plan and execute tooling qualification activities with supporting teams to ensure project success.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety (EHS) policies and actively contribute to EHS initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• No experience require as training provided.
• Experience managing healthcare products is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of project management and production processes.
• Proficiency in IT tools (MS Office).
• Excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
