Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Mechanical Technical Officer:
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute scheduled operations and maintenance tasks, as well as ad-hoc maintenance, within deadlines while ensuring high-quality standards.
- Perform routine inspections of equipment and promptly complete and submit checklists to the supervisor.
- Carry out preventive and predictive maintenance, ensuring timely documentation.
- Address corrective maintenance for equipment breakdowns and submit relevant reports.
- Report equipment issues to the supervisor and assist in implementing solutions.
- Support operational activities as needed.
- Conduct initial troubleshooting, report findings, and assist with more advanced troubleshooting as necessary.
- Oversee contractors to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Immediately report any anomalies or potential damages.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to safety procedures.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of parts and supplies.
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
- Respond promptly in emergencies, notifying appropriate personnel and following safety protocols
- Perform system condition assessments.
- Estimate labor requirements for complex mechanical installations.
- Develop expertise in assigned equipment.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or industrial).
- At least 3 years of experience in facilities engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge of fire alarm systems, vehicle barrier systems, and emergency response protocols.
- Understanding of building regulations and health and safety standards.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with non-engineering colleagues.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to troubleshoot effectively on the spot.
- Exhibit leadership and client management capabilities.
- Be proactive and able to work independently under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Information:
- Salary: Up to SGD 3,500 +AWS +VB (1 - 2 Months)
