Jobscope:
- Participate actively in EHSS activities (E.g., H&S Training, Concern Reporting, Safety Risk Assessment (SRA) Review, correction of EHS hazards and unsafe conditions).
- Maintain housekeeping in work area and ensure compliance of site safety regulations to prevent accidents.
- Ensure compliance of company EHS & Security policies & local EHS Legislations.
- Support Mechanical and/or Electrical Team in service and repair works when necessary.
- Perform scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment.
- Perform complex troubleshooting and repair equipment, redesign and improve the equipment for better capability and performance.
- Involve in improvement projects implementation and liaise with vendors/contractors on scope of work.
- Participate in Root Cause Failure Analysis and ensure action follow-up to prevent recurrence of breakdowns.
- Conduct on-the-job training and assessment for new technicians and complete all required certification forms as and when required by the company.
- Prepare SOP, OJT, SRA, Troubleshooting Know-How and other training materials when needed.
- Identify opportunity and drive continuous improvements in cost saving, quality and yield
- Carry out equipment inspection.
- Execute Reliability Index Tasks.
Requirements:
- Min. NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Technical certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Preferably with min. 3 years relevant work experience in hands on maintenance experience in chemical industry.
- Hands on experience in E & I, production line design and commissioning would be an advantage.
- Good knowledge in pneumatic, hydraulic and other control systems and understanding in operations of Plant Facility system and equipment (e.g. DCS, Hot Oil, Air Compressor, Cooling Tower,Dust Collector Chiller system, Fire Protection system, Nitrogen system, steam, Natural gas system, waste water system and Central Vacuum System).
- Able to Understand and interpret Electrical and/or Mechanical Drawings/Diagrams.
- Good mechanical knowledge, strong preventive maintenance knowledge, good project implementation leadership.
- Demonstrate good trouble shooting and analytical skills Independently.
- Proficient in English and communication skills, Strong leadership skills, Driven with Strong commitment for success.
- Team player
- Good knowledge in mechanical, process control safety standards.
- Strong equipment troubleshooting hands on skill.
