Mechanical Technician (US Semiconductor MNC / Woodlands)

Position: Mechanical Technician 12 months Renewable Contract

Venue: Woodlands

Working Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-530pm

Summary:

Responsible for performing mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning test equipment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, and/or rough sketches or drawings.
• Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
• May perform equipment modifications as directed by test engineers.
• Collaborate with company TMs for collection of parts from Fab decon room
• Dismantling of parts from the assemblies and pack to send to external vendor for cleaning
• Perform assemblies cleaning in chemical hood
• Cleaning of metal parts using chemical (10/90 IPA) and DI water
• Assemblies rebuild
• Testing for rebuild parts through Helium leak test and Testing station (valves)
• Perform daily PM on working areas and dispose of scrapped parts and solvent waste
• Pack rebuild parts and print out labels before MatReturn or return to end user
• Check inventory, update Engineer if need to restock 4Update daily activities in tracking system (share point)

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical engineering or equivalent related field or experience is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Manufacturing field will be prefer.
• Work accordingly to SOP, training will be given.
