Job Description

Job Descriptions:
  • Addressing media requests

  • Proactively keeping abreast of developments and new initiatives by the subsidiaries of the Foundation to identify and publicise newsworthy developments

  • Pitching stories, setting up interviews and negotiating media angles

  • Organising news conferences, media events and media reception as and when required

  • Monitoring and archiving relevant media mentions

  • Writing of press release, media invitation, speech of spokesperson in English

  • Content Editor for E-newsletter, LinkedIn content and Annual Report

    Job Requirements:

  • Possess at least a diploma in mass communications, journalism, translation editing or related discipline. Prefer to have 3 year relevant working experience

  • Strong command of written and spoken English, with at least basic spoken Mandarin (Need to liaise Chinese Associate)

  • Possess good situational judgement and critical thinking skills

  • Proactive and meticulous; able to work well independently and in a team

  • Have an interest or passion in working for an NGO or a VWO

  • 3 working day (flexi working arrangement), may require to work on weekends for media reception, allow time-off in lieu
