GMP is partnering with a well known medical institution to identifyPediatrician Doctors for their operations in Singapore. You will provide compassionate and comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients from infancy through adolescence. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality healthcare services and promote the well-being of children and their families in our community.
Responsibilities:
- Clinical Care:
- Conduct pediatric assessments, physical examinations, and developmental screenings.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in pediatric patients.
- Provide preventive care services, including immunizations, well-child visits, and health education.
- Manage pediatric emergencies and coordinate referrals to specialists as needed.
- Patient and Family Engagement:
- Establish trusting relationships with pediatric patients and their families, demonstrating empathy, compassion, and cultural sensitivity.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families, explaining diagnoses, treatment options, and medical recommendations in an understandable manner.
- Address parental concerns, answer questions, and provide guidance on child development, nutrition, and behavior management.
Collaborative Practice:
- Work collaboratively with nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care for pediatric patients.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient care outcomes.
- Consult and collaborate with pediatric subspecialists and other medical specialists as needed for complex cases.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Residency training in Pediatrics from an accredited residency program.
- Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics.
- State medical license and DEA registration.
- Strong clinical skills in pediatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to providing patient-centered care and promoting child health.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
