We are seeking a Medical Sales Representative for the CNS/GI team who will utilise clinical knowledge to convey scientific information on product benefits and how our products can benefit patients, to achieve business results for the range of Eisai products in the private/hospital sectors.
Job Responsibilities
- Achieving sales targets in assigned territory
- Conducting pre-call planning to optimize field visits to HCP
- Product detailing of assigned products to assigned customers
- Following up with clinics to ensure adequacy of stocks
- Submission of sales forecast on monthly basis
- Track sales, patient numbers and prescribing habits by customers
- Handling any return requests as appropriate
- Establishing, developing and maintaining positive customer relationships
- Daily customer visits to HCP in assigned territory
- Continuous customer engagement through face-to-face or digital touchpoints
- Following up on HCP requests for product information, redirecting medical enquiries as appropriate
- Working with Marketing to establish effective marketing messages to ensure optimal customer interest
- Regularly reviewing target customer list by proposing updates to customer profile and segmentation based on customer knowledge
- Establishing annual customer profiling list
- Collecting Adverse Event data and following up as necessary
- Gathering market intelligence, keeping up to date with key market developments and competitor movements
- Daily reporting of customer calls in Sales Force Effectiveness system
- Monthly reporting of completed sales activities
Qualifications
- Preferably Bachelor's Degree and with specialization in Health Sciences/Biological/Life Sciences
- Preferably 1-2 years of pharmaceutical sales experience
- Good understanding of clinical management within an institution
- Must be adaptable and have proven ability to build and maintain good business relationships, influence customers at all levels
- Must be positive, a team-player, independent and able to work under pressure
