Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Merchandising Manager for a leading sports brand. In this role, you will drive merchandising strategies that align with our brand vision and growth goals, ensuring product assortments meet market demand and resonate with our target audience. You'll collaborate closely with product development, marketing, and retail teams to enhance product offerings and optimize in-store and online performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies for various product categories, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and business goals.
- Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify customer preferences, competitive insights, and emerging opportunities.
- Lead assortment planning and product lifecycle management from concept to in-store/online placement.
- Work closely with the design and product teams to refine product lines and ensure cohesive, on-brand assortments.
- Monitor inventory levels, sales trends, and sell-through rates to optimize stock replenishment and minimize overstock.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling product stories and campaigns that drive customer engagement.
- Prepare and present merchandising performance reports, adjusting strategies to meet KPIs and maximize profitability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in merchandising, ideally within the sports or fashion industry.
- Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of market trends and consumer behavior.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in retail management systems and merchandising software.
