Redstone Commodity Search are working with a global manufacturing leader looking to hire a Procurement and Trading specialist to join the commercial team in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Develop and manage metal raw material planning.
• Create forecasts for ordering and inventory management.
• Integrate processes among Operations, Purchasing, Logistics, and Chinese suppliers.
• Identify and qualify new mills in China for bar sourcing.
• Collaborate across the organisation for supply chain success.
• Identify and implement planning/forecasting systems.

Key Qualifications / Experience

• Degree qualified.
• 10+ years in global supply chain, trading, or procurement.
• Successful in business transformation and growth.
• Fluent in Chinese.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
• Experience with metrics to set expectations and gauge success.
