Job Responsibilities:
. Accurately and safely perform timely testing of routine and non-routine lab samples in accordance with appropriate GMP, GLP and safety guidelines.
. Accurately maintain laboratory record system of submitted samples (to compile, analyze, evaluate and prepare reports).
. Recognize deviations from procedures, methods, etc., and initiates an investigation as required.
. Prepare certificate of analysis (COA), certificate of ingredients (COI) and health certificate.
. Assist in preparations of statistical reports and trend analysis from data compiled on a daily, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
. Coordinate with commercial laboratory for samples submission and result release.
. Maintain inventory of all laboratory supplies and consumables - inventory monitoring and control, raise purchase request.
. Maintain competency in all trained areas.
. Adhere to the laboratory quality control policies, document all quality control activities, instrument and procedural calibrations and maintenance performed.
. Be capable of identifying problems that may adversely affect test performance of test results, reporting of test results, correct the problems and immediate notify the superior.
. Engage in training exercise (Eg. ISO 17025 training, proficiency test, ring test) to fulfill compliance requirements.
. Ability to satisfactorily participate in proficiency testing programs.
. Maintain competency in all trained areas.
. Manage the sample retention room.
. Perform all related works as required.

. Good communication and interpersonal skills along with strong computer aptitude are essential.
. Meticulous, conscientious and systematic.
. Individual must display a high degree of self-motivation and initiative, as well as, the ability to work well with others.
. Understanding of statistical tools and analysis.
. Strong attention to detail.
. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.
. Experience with Root Cause Analysis.
. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.
. Official Working Hours: Mon to Fri: 8am to 5pm, Alternate Sat: 8am to 12noon, Sun: Rest Day
Additional Information:
. The position is full-time non-remote, Monday through Friday, alternate Saturday, with flexibility to support weekends on occasion.
