AI and (BI) Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer to join our Data & AI team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, developing, and maintaining our MicroStrategy-based BI environment. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, implement data solutions, and ensure the seamless operation of our Data Platform.
Key Responsibilities
- MicroStrategy Development and Maintenance
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions using MicroStrategy.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the MicroStrategy environment.
- Optimize BI solutions for performance and scalability.
- Client Collaboration
- Gather and analyze requirements from business stakeholders to design tailored BI solutions.
- Act as a subject-matter expert, providing guidance on best practices in BI development and MicroStrategy use.
- Offer technical support and training to end-users as needed.
- ETL Pipeline Development
- Design and manage Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to ensure the smooth flow of data across platforms.
- Work with large datasets to transform raw data into actionable insights.
- Data Modeling and Analysis
- Create and maintain robust data models that align with business needs.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all BI solutions.
- Employ advanced data modeling techniques to improve decision-making capabilities.
- Collaboration and Process Improvement
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and other cross-functional teams to support the overall Data Platform.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and system enhancements to improve efficiency.
Qualifications
Must-Have Skills
- MicroStrategy Expertise
- In-depth knowledge of MicroStrategy tools, architecture, and functionality.
- Hands-on experience in creating advanced dashboards, visualizations, and reports.
- ETL Pipelines
- Proficiency in designing, building, and maintaining ETL pipelines using industry-standard tools and technologies.
- Data Modeling
- Strong understanding of data modeling techniques and methodologies, including star schema and snowflake schema designs.
Additional Skills (Preferred)
- Familiarity with SQL and relational database management systems (RDBMS).
- Experience with cloud platforms and modern data warehousing solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in BI engineering, data analytics, or a similar role.
