Alstom as historical main contractor of the five first stages of the Circle line, was awarded for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of the Signaling System (Communications-Based Train Control) for the Circle Line 6 (CCL6) extension and Kim Chuan Depot Extension. This mainline extension will add three stations between HarbourFront and Marina Bay MRT stations, closing the loop for CCL. The stations are: Keppel, Cantonment and Prince Edward Road. Kim Chuan Depot will also be expanded to cater for the new trains when CCL6 is ready. This is a very challenging project which requires Alstom to execute complex and new work and strong coordination with various stakeholders (E&M, Civil, Trackwork, System Integrator, Public Transport Authorities and Operator).
OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
As part of its awarded contract for the Circle Line 6 (CCL6) extension, Alstom will supply the Signaling System with the same specification for fit, form and function as the existing equipment and systems installed on the existing Circle Line (CCL). This work includes also the provision of generic interface cabinets to enable any other third party Signaling System provider to interface with Alstom common trackside equipment (track circuit, signals, point machines, ..etc..).
The migration coordinator/manager is responsible for the overall migration plan and strategy to ensure the seamless execution of the different phases of the KCDE migration plan with eventual final connection to CCL 1
RESPONSIBILITIES:
To take ownership of the migration plan and migration strategy. In this capacity, to propose the necessary adjustments to ensure smooth and timely commissioning of the depot extension and mainline works. In this capacity you work closely with the PTM, the T&C manager and the PrEM.
To lead or participate in any presentation to the authority or operator related to the migration plan and strategy in accordance to the software baseline program
To coordinate with other SWCs, Authority and Operator for the schedule of activities and the preparation of the modification forms (AFM) to ensure timely start and progress of the work. In this capacity you work with the PTM, the Installation and T&C manager.
To lead any required analysis with the support of the different project team and provide timely solutions or recommendations.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 4 years relevant experience in commissioning of complex systems (Preferably railway),
Knowledge in deployment processes of Driverless Signaling systems (or with similar complexity),
Good knowledge in Signaling environments and railway operations principles,
Ability to define the testing principles leading to the preparation of the tests plans and/or procedures and reports, ability to define acceptance criteria,
Experience in leading the troubleshooting of complex issues involving various internal and external systems. Relevant experience in commissioning of complex systems (CBI, SCADA or similar),
Experience in problem troubleshooting.
