Module Construction and Network Projects Engineer

Responsibilities:
1. Oversee end-to-end project management for module construction, network setup, cabinet renovation, decommissioning, and miscellaneous cabling projects. Coordinate closely with the TPM (Technical Project Management) team and local operations teams to ensure timely project delivery.
2. Inspect and report on the progress of civil and infrastructure works at IDC (Internet Data Center) sites according to TPM requirements.
3. Manage project scope within a designated location, covering, but not limited to, preliminary project site surveys, logistics coordination, on-site cabling management, and network integration to ensure overall project timeliness and quality. During the project, you may need to participate in on-site engineering tasks for a certain duration.
4. Oversee project construction management across all data center locations within the region. Standard work hours are 5 days a week, 8 hours per day, with occasional short-term overtime due to project demands or unexpected situations.
5. Complete onboarding training, with a 3-6 month on-the-job training period after joining. Afterward, you will be responsible for managing all projects in the assigned area in cooperation with the Alibaba TPM team.

Qualifications:
1. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
2. Over 3 years of experience in data center construction or on-site operations prior experience with Alibaba Data Centers is preferred.
3. Project management experience PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
4. IT background with familiarity in network architecture, servers, and fiber optics is preferred.
5. Fluency in both English and Chinese proficiency in the local language is advantageous.
6. Willingness to commute to multiple sites within the region a local driver's license is preferred.
