Locum HCA x2 (Dayward)

Location: Outram
Fixed Mon - Fri:
(will be rostered according to the following shifts hours)
7am - 4pm
8am - 5pm
9am - 6pm
11am - 8pm

Rate: $17/hr (CFS)

Job scope:
. assist with transferring, transporting and assist in ambulating patient.
. able to prepare patient for physical examination and other procedure
. able to prepare and perform orientation
. able to perform assessment of patient undergoing surgery
. able to order and serve meal
. able to assist and perform simple procedure such as setting up and handle portable oxygen, perform 12 lead ECG and capillary blood glucose monitoring
. able to provide teaching to patients and relatives,
. able to perform checks and documentation
. able to perform discharge
. participate in QI
