What you will do:

. Lead the team of IT professionals based in our Singapore tech center and support their success and growth.

. Build cross-functional relationships with Product Managers, User Experience Researchers, and Software Engineers to understand business needs and deliver technology solutions that address those needs.

. Understand business processes, applicable technology, and data supporting Patient Safety Quality & Compliance.

. Partner with Product Line leader, Product Manager(s) and other stakeholders in understanding, prioritizing, planning and implementing technical solutions that deliver desired business value.

. Led technical teams to design and launch technical solutions based on product needs.

. Serve as the single point of accountability for all technical matters within the product/product line.

. Coordinate execution for successful delivery across teams and vendor partners to meet product line objectives with high quality, timeliness, and within budget / estimates while ensuring compliance with company policies.

. Contribute to developing accurate and realistic plans, resource estimates, and timelines in alignment with prioritized business requirements.

. Actively participate in technical implementation to ensure alignment with business needs.

. Demonstrate independent problem-solving ability within job responsibilities.

. Define and enforce development standards, best practices and review processes to ensure consistency of delivery quality and reusability of solution components.

. Conduct innovation proof of concepts and pilots to identify and onboard pertinent solutions following company policies and in partnership with other stakeholders in the organization.

. Contribute to agile teams to achieve common goal

What you must have:

. Strong experience with building large, scalable solutions.

. Good understanding of modern architectural patterns.

. Strong communication skills for technical and business audiences.

. Experience with team and people management.

. Leadership experience with and without formal authority.

. Excellent communication and ability to explain complex technical topics to technical and business audience.

. Experienced in Agile teams and Scrum framework.

. Experienced in cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

. Proficient in gathering requirements and translating them into technical specifications.

. Experience in implementation and supporting SaaS & COTS solutions (e.g., Veeva R&D Suite of vaults).

. Work experience with pharmacovigilance intake, database, and reporting systems.

. Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards.

. Experience with GxP validations, focus on GCP (Good Clinical Practices).

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Preferred hands-on pharmaceutical or regulated industry experience, mainly familiarity with Patient Safety.
  • Proficiency in DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • Experienced with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Experienced in SQL programming and server-side programming with Python or Node.js.
  • Up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
  • Relevant cloud platform and integration platform certifications.
  • Familiarity with integration platforms for data integration and transformation, and understanding of various APIs and integration protocols.
