Music Educators (Free Lance)

GraceNotes Collective is looking for Music Instructors who are MOE Registered and are keen to conduct and create music programmes for students in primary and secondary schools.

The Music programme domains (not exhaustive) are:

Angklung, Ukulele, Guitar, Keyboard, Orff Classes, Handbells, Ethnic Percussions, Pitched Percussions, Cajon, Garageband, Song Writing, Music Composition, Music Production, Music & Movement, Boomwhackers, String Instruments (Violin, Cello, Double Bass)

If there are other music-related domains that you have expertise in, please list them down in your application. There are opportunities to create and offer new courses to schools. There are also opportunities to train on the job for various instruments.

Job Requirements:

• Must be MOE eIRS (Instructor- Registration System) registered. (Please attached valid MOE Registration Slip)
• AMIS (Art Music Instructor Scheme) registered
• Growth Mindset, Optimism and Curiosity
• Zealous passion for working with children and youths to bring out their potential
• Available on weekdays between 8am - 5pm
• Willing to travel to schools across Singapore
• Only Singaporeans need to apply

Please state the domains that you are applying to teach. Teaching experience in the related domain would be an advantage, but not a requirement as training will be provided.

We welcome instructors who have been teaching in schools and would like to venture into new teaching domains.

Salary: $45-75 per hour (Rates will commensurate with experience)

Part-time hours: 20 per week

Education:

• Post secondary education and professional training
• Relevant arts/music certificates

License/Certification:

• MOE Registration
• AMIS (Arts and Music Instructor Scheme) Registration

Willingness to travel:
