Naval/Senior Naval Architect

Responsibilities:

• Conduct engineering analyses, including mooring, installation, riser systems, and sea fastening design.
• Develop operational procedures and mobilization/demobilization plans for offshore utilization.
• Oversee equipment procurement, including rigging design, and collaborate with sales/rental teams.
• Manage project schedules, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and produce subcontractor scopes of work.
• Supervise offshore operations, ensuring adherence to safety procedures and guidelines.
• Participate in QHSE and risk assessment activities, with regular international and offshore travel required.

Requirements:

• Honors degree in Naval Architecture accredited by the Engineering Council
• Minimum 5 years experience working within the Energy Industry, specifically Oil and Gas or Renewables
• Knowledge of Orcaflex, Ariane, Hydrostar, Moses, GMOOR (or similar) will be a plus
• Comfortable to travel offshore and internationally
