Can you provide navigation support for our operations
We're looking for a Navigation Supervisor to join our global commercial team, based in Singapore.
We are the Seismic industry leader with a fleet of high-capacity towed streamer and ocean bottom nodes vessels.
To ensure the operations during our projects run smoothly, we rely on our navigation experts guidance and knowledge.
Working in partnership with commercial, operations and other technical teams, you will be working collaboratively as a key contact on technical aspects for tenders and provide solutions for clients from tender response to project close out.
Technically speaking.
You will preferably have offshore seismic acquisition experience or experience in supporting roles, allowing you to advise on various navigation, surveying, and positioning parameters.
We operate a range of seismic surveys including single and multivessel, 4D and UHR, all of which will require various navigation products to be in keeping with their individual requirements and information.
You will have a keen eye for details while working on these large projects to ensure they meet with the quality standards within Shearwater.
You will have a strong foundation of knowledge and are keen to keep up to date with industry formats and guidelines related to navigation.
In personal terms.
We're looking for someone with a solutions-oriented mindset, good judgement and the confidence to make decisions independently.
You will work with a range of stakeholders, including clients, operations teams and offshore crews, so communication and presentation skills will be key.
You will assist with the full lifecycle of surveys, so experience working in large projects will be beneficial.
A strong desire for continuous development and learning is essential, along with up-to-date knowledge of relevant technical developments.
