Network Engineer IP/MPLS

Multinational telecoms giant require an IP/ MPLS Network Engineer to work out of their Singapore office.

As a Network Engineer, you will join a multicultural team of people scattered across different continents and time zones. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our network infrastructure, deploying new POPs and devices and supporting the company's ever-growing business needs. You will also join the on-call rotation.

Responsibilities:

Configure, install, and maintain the company network

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues

Manage network devices and software

Cooperate with other as the last tier of escalations

Join the on-call rotation

Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and recommend their application in the company network

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related Information Technology field

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Network Engineer

Proficient with Cisco IOS-XE and IOS-XR and familiar with Cisco TAC

First hand experience with BGP, ISIS, L3VPNs, LDP and MPLS-TE

Basic python skills

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

Fluency in Mandarin and English

Cloud computing experience

Familiarity with IP peering and MANRs

Familiarity with Segment Routing and WAE

Familiarity with Netflow and Kentik

CCNP or CCIE certifications
