Provide technical support services remotely or onsite as per service level agreement including
Break-fix.
Emergency support.
Software upgrades.
Engage customers and vendors to deliver a fit-for-purpose and future-proof solution design that meet their business objectives, adhering to project delivery framework and vendors product lifecycle.
Develop and implement infrastructure projects adhering to project scope of work, timeline, budget, with quality.
Develop concise project documentation such as High-Level Design, Low-Level Design,
Migration/Implementation MoP, User Acceptance Test, User Guide documents, System Documentation.
Develop test cases and conduct hardware & software regression tests on new software/hardware prior to deployment or proof of concept of solutions.
Perform configuration change for network enhancement and validation of new service/feature.
Prepare reports and documentations outlining findings and solutions when required.
Continually research new technologies and educational opportunities.
May be required to be on standby duty
Requirements:
Tertiary education in Computer Networks, Information Technology or Cybersecurity.
Possess Technical Certifications in any of the following domains will be an added advantage. (Data Center / Routing & Switching / Security / Service Provider / Wireless)
3-5 Years experience in filed or service engineering, specifically on network, wireless, and network security projects.
Possess an analytical mind with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and cope with pressure.
Able to work flexi hours (even after office hours when required).
Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources
Preferably with knowledge and hands on experience in any of the following areas:
LAN Switching technologies such as VLANs, VXLANs, STP/RSTP.
WAN and Routing technologies such as OSFP, IS-IS, BGP, MPLS.
Network Authentication technologies such as 802.1x Radius, Active Directory, Posture, Profiling.
WIFI technologies such as WLC, 802.11ac, PEAL, TLS. Experience with heat map coverage mapping will be an added advantage.
Network Monitoring / Performance measurement such as Solarwinds, MRTG, PRTG.
Packet Optical Network solutions such as IPoDWDM.
Network security solutions such as NG-Firewalls, VPN solutions, UTM, endpoint security, IPS/IDS, token-based authentication solution, antivirus gateway, data encryption, DDoS protection system and PIN verification systems.
Appliance based Server/firewall/WAN load balancers such as Proxy Server, WAN Optimization and Applications Acceleration systems.
DNS, DHCP and IPAM (DDI) solutions.
System Experience includes Linux/Unix, Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and MS Server.
