Job Description

  • Possess a deep understanding of network protocols, risk management, security standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Analyze network traffic patterns, identify bottlenecks, and track performance to proactively address issues and optimize network efficiency.
  • Actively participate in network audits and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the Bank's APAC network adheres to bank rules and regulatory guidelines.
  • Establish and enforce network operational procedures, supervise the Network Operations team, review KPIs, and ensure SLAs are met.
  • Manage vendors and service providers, including MSAs and SAs, to optimize service reliability and cost-efficiency.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams on network planning and service-related matters, such as DR drills, third-party risk management, asset management, lifecycle management, privilege access management, and patch management.
  • Oversee the design and architecture of the network to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Possess a strong understanding of network budget planning, including Capex and Opex.
  • Develop and maintain network performance reports for management review.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with at least 5 years of experience as a Network Operations Lead or Senior Network Engineer.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in network planning, design, and implementation.
  • CCNP/CCDP, ITIL, or equivalent certifications. CCIE certification is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of network protocols, risk management, security standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven hands-on experience in network deployment for large enterprises and data centers.
  • In-depth knowledge of IP routing, switching, BGP, OSPF, SD-WAN, QoS, and VPC.
  • Proficient with Cisco, Fortinet, Checkpoint, F5, or equivalent network devices.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Prior experience in the banking or financial industry is advantageous.
  • In-depth knowledge of IP routing, switching, BGP, OSPF, SD-WAN, QoS, and VPC.
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences.
