Job Description

  • Provide day to day operation support (attend to service requests, email respondents/ queries, incident tickets, troubleshooting, etc.)
  • Manage and maintain the network infrastructure.
  • Monitor the network performance (bandwidth usage, health of network equipment etc.)
  • Proficient in analyzing and optimizing network performance.
  • Implement innovative or automation solution.
  • Provide standby support of network related issues.
  • Make recommendations for improvements to enhance overall network efficiency and reliability.
  • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
  • Designing, writing, and updating system documentation, assets, and network diagrams.
  • Monitor the network performance (network device resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning) to ensure network availability and reliability.
  • Analyze network performance data, identify trends, and implement proactive measures to prevent potential network issues. This includes system checks, updates, config review and EOL/EOS of device hardware and firmware.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including vendors or business partners to troubleshoot and resolve network outages, ensuring minimal downtime and service disruption.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, service providers, including vendors to provide updates on network status and incident resolutions.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the network infrastructure, including new equipment and network solutions. Continuously learning and stay updated on the latest technology, network monitoring tools, and industry best practices to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure adherence to Income Insurance Corporate Policies and Guidelines.
Key Requirements:
  • Responsible for day-to-day Operation and administration of network and security infrastructure.
  • Experience in firewall, switches, routers, proxy, load balancers, DNS, NAC, Wireless, remote access (VPN)
  • Knowledge in managing Alcatel switches, Aruba Wireless Controllers, Palo Alto firewall, Network Access Control, RSA, F5 VPN, Alteon Load Balancers.
  • Knowledge in SDWAN and VxLAN
  • Knowledge in Cloud infrastructure (AWS) will be an advantage.
  • CCNP certification is preferred.
