Network Engineer

A Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining computer networks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement network architectures (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, etc.)
2. Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.)
3. Ensure network security, performance, and reliability
4. Configure and manage network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
5. Monitor network performance and optimize as needed
6. Troubleshoot network issues and resolve problems
7. Collaborate with IT teams to integrate network services with applications
8. Develop and maintain network documentation
9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
10. Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and standards

Skills and Qualifications:

1. ITE, Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Networking, or related field
2. CCNA, CCNP, or other certification (or equivalent)
3. 2+ years of experience in network engineering
4. Strong knowledge of network protocols, architectures, and technologies
5. Experience with network security, firewall configuration, and VPNs
6. Proficiency in network management tools (e.g., SolarWinds)
7. Analytical and problem-solving skills
8. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
