systemsGo is now conducting interviews to fill the position of Network Engineer. This is a full- time position in our fast-growing office in Singapore, and comes with standard benefits. Successful candidate will work alongside the team of friendly, skilled professionals from multiple locations in APAC region in providing on-site IT coordinator support, and customer services.
Responsibilities:
Deliver on-site smart hand services requiring no dedicated skills in the technologies
Pickup hardware from local warehouse
Unpacking the Products, removal and disposal of all packing material
installation of equipment into nominated location (rack) as defined by rack allocation planning,
complete onsite installation incl. racking and cabling for switches, APs, FirewallEvonik TV
Hardware self-testing to ensure Devices are properly installed and connected to the network
Cabling of the devices according to the defined cabling plans,
Labelling of devices and cables,
Transport of device to new location
Adding/replace of accessories, modules/ Linecards, fiber optics / power supply
Device decommissioning, removal of cables
Removal of equipment from the rack
Smart Hand activities i.e. power cycle, activate console access etc.
Backup other engineers if needed
Performs all other duties as assigned
Experience:
Good knowledge on physical servers / network devices, hands-on experience.
Experience on data center or server room, familiar with mount / unmount devices in the rack.
Hardware troubleshooting and cabling experience preferred.
2+ years experience as a technical support position preferred but not required.
IT inventory management experience preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft operating systems.
Excellent customer relation skills.
