Network Operation Engineer

Our client is looking for a network operations engineer for tier 2 network monitoring and operations of IDC network.

Job Description

• You will respond to, follow up on and drive the resolution of network alarms and faults.
• You will follow up on and finish network break fixes e.g. switch replacement, link repairing and dark fiber restoration.
• You will be responsible for conducting simple network maintenance activities.

Requirements

• Ideally at least 5 years of experience in data center network monitoring and operations.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP and routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, etc.
• Proficient in network troubleshooting experience with Linux preferred.
• Professional certifications preferred e.g. CCNA, JNCIA, etc.
• Able to take work shifts.
