Network & System Administration #SGUnited

The Network & System Administrator will participate in design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable IT systems and infrastructure to support the Group's operations and growth.

This role involves collaborating with other IDT team members to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability of our IT environment.

The Network & System Administrator will also evaluate and integrate new technologies, troubleshoot complex issues, provide Level 1 and Level 2 support, and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

. System Design and Implementation: Assist in design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure IT systems and infrastructure. Develop and maintain detailed system documentation and specifications.

. Technology Integration: Evaluate, integrate, and manage new technologies and solutions to enhance the IT environment. Ensure seamless integration of Microsoft Active Directory, Azure Hybrid Cloud, and other core systems.

. Performance Optimization: Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and issues. Implement best practices for system performance, reliability, and security.

. Network and Security Management: Configure and manage network printers, Fortigate firewalls, and VMWare environments. Ensure robust security practices are in place and adhered to, including regular updates and patches.

. Collaboration and Support: Work closely with IT support teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Provide guidance and support for SharePoint and other collaborative tools.

. Training & Knowledge Sharing: Drive training initiatives for local IT staff and end-users, enhancing their technical capabilities and ensuring effective utilization of IT resources.

Project Management: Drive and participate in IT projects, ensuring timely and successful completion. Coordinate with various stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.

Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in network and system administration or a related role.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

Competencies

Technical

. Proficient in server and storage solutions, virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud services (e.g., Azure, Alibaba Cloud).

. Proven experience with Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, Azure Hybrid Cloud, and SharePoint.

. Strong understanding of system architecture and design principles.

. Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell).

. Preferred Certifications: Azure Administrator Associate, VCP, CCNA, NSE.

Non-Technical

. Strong problem-solving skills for addressing complex technical issues effectively.

. Demonstrated project management abilities with a track record of successful IT project delivery.

. Fluent in Mandarin and English to facilitate effective communication with diverse teams.
