O Level Teacher

About the School:

We are an EduTrust-certified Private Education Institution based in Singapore with over a decade of successful track record. We are seeking dynamic and dedicated teachers to join our academic team, both full-time and part-time, responsible for teaching O Level English, Physics, A-Math and E-Math.

We are seeking teachers who are highly responsible, disciplined, and self-motivated. You should be able to work well in a team environment, including collaborations with school management, students, and other fellow teachers/staff.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Instruction and Delivery:

a. Develop and implement lesson objectives and plans that meet curriculum standards.

b. Deliver clear and concise instruction using a variety of methods and technology.

2.Assessment and Evaluation:

a. Assess and evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, and projects.

b. Provide constructive feedback to students and maintain accurate records to track their progress.

3.Classroom Management:

a. Maintain a disciplined, respectful, and productive classroom environment.

b. Implement classroom rules and procedures and manage student behavior in accordance with school policies.

4.Student Support:

a. Offer additional academic support to students after class, including tutoring and homework assistance.

b. Identify and address individual student needs and learning challenges.

5.Professional Development:

a. Participate in ongoing professional development and training programs.

b. Stay current with developments in education and subject-specific content.

6.Collaboration and Communication:

a. Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student success.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree or above with at least 2 years relevant working experience.

2. Passionate about teaching, strong sense of ownership and responsibility.

3. Familiar with O Level curriculum in English, Physics, E-Math & A-Math.

4. Familiarity with Edutrust is a plus.

Skills:

1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

2. Able to command attention of students

3. Proficiency in using technology for educational purposes.

4. Second Asian language preferred.
