[What the role is]
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordination of the department's administrative tasks and assist with work in the areas of financial assistance, awards and scholarships.
[What you will be working on]
Main Responsibilities
- Liaise with external partners/agencies and coordinate student nominations for financial assistance, awards and scholarship opportunities for students.
- Assist in the administration of funding for student overseas travel programmes
- Manage contracts for student insurance and student care items
- Administer surveys, compile data for analytics and reporting purposes
- Organise department meetings and events, collate presentation slides and prepare meeting minutes
- Coordinate compilation and submission of reports
- Participate in team digitalization and learner-centric projects
- Handle enquiries and complaints
- Take on any other assigned administrative duties
[What we are looking for]
Requirements
- Relevant academic qualifications with at least 4 years of work experience (prior work experience in financial assistance or in government sectors doing financial-related work would be an advantage)
- IT savvy, proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and proficient with large data sets (data analytics, digitalisation and programming skills would be an advantage)
- Must be organized, meticulous, results-focused, proactive and resourceful able to work independently and in a team, multi-task and work effectively under pressure during peak periods
- Strong communication (both spoken and written) and interpersonal skills able to handle complaints and solve problems
