Job Description
The role of Network change and Service Asset configuration management (SACM) ensure that Cis (configuration items) are properly identified and Network changes are properly recorded in system of record. SACM must ensure the proper record for all the Cis controlled under Network services. In addition, the role will ensure the governance for Network change management and provide training to Network team for upcoming process change or change related activities driven by Enterprise Change Advisory Board and Network Change Advisory Board.
The candidate will also have responsibility to own, chair, manage and run the Change Management Process with Network Technology Service in region, they will be responsible in making sure that Bank of America Enterprise Change Management process is adhered to whilst representing region in Global Network Technology Service Change Management forum, actively participating in the discussion to drive consistency and adoption.
Responsibilities
Owner of the Network Technology Services SACM process in the region.
Responsible for the process design.
Coordinate the allocation of resources and/or responsibilities, while ensuring that all relevant staff have the required technical and business understanding, knowledge, and training in the process, and are aware of their role in the process.
Monitor and review the execution of the SACM process at a high-level, ensure it remains consistent with the organizations current culture and IT Service Management strategy and ensures coordination with all other IT processes.
Manage, monitor, review and update all procedural documentation and work instructions.
Manage any new requirements or changes to the Process.
Define and improve the audit process; Monitor and review the execution of periodic audits.
Coordinates design work for CI and Asset discovery and other data import methods
Owner of the Network Technology Services Change Management process in the region.
Provide coaching and training to members of the organization who utilize the Change Management and SACM processes.
Align with Network Global SACM team for Quality of Data management in SACM.
Chair the weekly Network Change Management review forum where changes are discussed for approval.
Attend the Global Network Technology Services Change Management forum as the regional representative to ensure APAC nuances are taken into consideration whilst driving global consistency.
Create change reports utilizing e-Smart Remedy reporting in preparation for the Network Change Review Forum and to track the daily status of changes.
Ensuring changes are approved ahead of time and acting as the point of contact for Network Change Management
Responsible for the overall quality of the changes raised by APAC - NTS team with the ability to critically review and reject changes which do not meet the quality criteria.
Build relationships with senior stakeholders across the CTO organization and NTS organization to understand the priorities and critical deliverables which are crucial in leading to the successful delivery and adoption of the Change Management and SACM processes.
Lead service review meetings with relevant stakeholders.
Required Skills
A minimum of 2-4 years working experience as Change Manager and SACM Manager in a multinational organization with an excellent understanding of change management principles, techniques, and tools.
Must possess a good working experience and hands-on knowledge of BMC Remedy change management and SACM modules.
Must possess strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and people management skills.
Must be able to work and communicate effectively with all levels in the organization.
Must demonstrate positive attitude with ability to manage stakeholder expectations and adaptable to changing environment.
Team player, ability to work under pressure and adaptable to off-hour requirements when needed.
