Job Description:
This role will be part of a team responsible for reviewing and approving material changes to product data. Responsibilities include supporting regional stakeholders (including Japanese stakeholders) with day-to-day resolution of complex problems and execution of complex transactions for the business unit, including research of internal and external sources.
You will also serve as a control point for key Static changes (knowing and upholding current policy) provided by internal users as well as third party vendors. There will be opportunities to coordinate implementation of new products /services, procedures & systems/hardware solutions for problems in operations environment. You will also help initiate projects & alternatives to improve operations efficiency, recommending client data changes across a variety of LOBs.
Responsibilities:
Receive inbound, electronic requests via a web-based front end system to create new products for the Bank of America enterprise and/or requests to change material fields on that product data
Research, approve and/or reject new client or maintenance requests from external systems and business partners
Participate in project work such as data cleanup initiatives and system deployment or upgrades
Assist global production offices in client management including requests to create or maintenance product data
Assist global production offices in instrument management including requests to create or maintenance product data
Maintain communications and business partner via the support email.
Skills:
A background in Operations, Corporate Actions, Client Data, Risk or Vendor Management would be useful but not essential.
Strong written and verbal communication skills required in English and Business Level Japanese is required due to business needs to communicate with Japanese stakeholders.
Strong research skills and able to work independently
Knowledge acquired through increasingly responsible operations analysis work
Strong MS Office skills required
