We are seeking a skilled Trading Operator to join our dynamic team at an Oil & Gas trading company. The Trading Operator will be responsible for managing the end-to-end operations of cargo, ensuring smooth execution from loading to delivery. The ideal candidate must have proven experience in handling Gasoil or Gasoline operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full cargo operations for Refined Oil products, ensuring smooth and efficient execution.
- Draft, negotiate, and manage sales and purchase contracts in compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Handle all shipping and banking documentation, including Letters of Credit (L/C), invoices, contracts, and Bills of Lading (BL).
- Coordinate insurance declarations, appoint discharge/load port agents, and manage LOI, as well as load and discharge operations.
- Assess demurrage and update the company's trading system with accurate information.
- Facilitate seamless collaboration between internal teams (Operations, Commercial, Risk, Shipping, Finance, and Accounts) and ensure adherence to internal procedures.
- Liaise with trading counterparties and affiliated offices to ensure the efficient execution of tasks and timely resolution of operational issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or Marine Studies with minimum 5 years of experience in cargo operation
- Experienced in handling back-to-back operations
- Experienced in handling Gasoil and Gasoline is a plus
- Good communication skills in Chinese to communicate and liaise with key stakeholders
- Strong team player, and able to work independently to deliver quality output.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
