About the Role for Event Project Operations:
- Establishes, implements, and communicates the strategic direction of the organization's operations division.
- Establishes, communicates, and implements operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution across department self-run shows/event projects.
- Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources.
- Reviews and cost-control reports, cost estimates, and staffing requirements for shows/projects.
- Handles and manages events budget costings
- Adequate knowledge of License application is a must.
- Ensure events follow local security, Workplace Safety and Health regulations. (Bizsafe Certified)
Pre-Show/Event Opening:
- Coordinate venue preparations in advance of show/event openings, including site planning, permitting, pre-construction, utilities, and vendor procurement for docents, security, local management, and cleaning.
During Show/Event:
- Provide support to onsite staff to ensure the maintenance of high levels of customer service.
- Support continuous training for staff members and oversee staff management activities.
- Support the maintenance of show site facilities, including electrical, network, ACMV, and rooms handed over by venue partner.
- Exercise budget control measures throughout the duration of the show/event project.
Skills and Experiences:
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Proven Planning and Coordination skills
- Driven problem solver, always looking for the most efficient and cost-effective solution
- Good Communication skills, including fluency in spoken and written English
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities and support company objective
- Might need to travel for projects in ASEAN
Requires to be PMP certified.
